Community for Educational Innovation – Activity Highlights from the First Semester of 2026
The Community for Educational Innovation (CEI) has published its Activity Report for the first semester of 2026.
Hosted within HEInnovate, the CEI is a growing European community of practice that now brings together over 1,600 members from 108 countries, representing all EU Member States. Its members include educators, researchers, entrepreneurs, students and policymakers working on innovation and entrepreneurship in education.
During the first semester of 2026, the CEI continued to build momentum through:
- Three thematic webinars: Twin Transition – Understanding the Why and Building the How, Educating to Thrive in the Digital World and Leading Sustainability in Education.
- An in-person study visit to the New Bulgarian University in Sofia, which gathered educators, policymakers and innovation leaders from 13 countries for two days of learning and co-creation.
The Activity Report provides a snapshot of CEI membership, activities and what is coming next, including new thematic webinars planned for the autumn.
