Expanding Entrepreneurship Education Across Disciplines: Lifelong Learning at the University of Osijek
This case study updates the 2015 HEInnovate case study on entrepreneurship education at Josip Juraj Strossmayer University of Osijek, Croatia. It focuses on how the Faculty of Economics and Business in Osijek (EFOS) extends its long-standing entrepreneurship education expertise across disciplinary boundaries. Two lifelong learning initiatives are presented: the Entrepreneurship Academy, bringing together participants from different faculties, and Bioentrepreneurship, jointly developed by EFOS and the Department of Biology. The case highlights interdisciplinary learning, practitioner involvement and cross-university collaboration, as well as challenges related to capacity, participation and sustainable funding.
