We are pleased to announce a two-day training session on 18 - 19 June in Berlin to provide information and advice on how to make the most of HEInnovate. 

The training is based on the HEInnovate training materials and is designed for staff from higher education institutions. In addition, the two days will offer an international networking opportunity with like-minded people. 

The training session will help participants to:  

• Get (more) familiar with and deepen understanding of the HEInnovate tool and useful supporting materials, such as action cards;
• Understand the strategic potential of HEInnovate and develop a strategic view of the implementation of the self-assessment results;
• Use the HEInnovate tool and resources at their own institution, focusing on strategic goals and leadership;
• Exchange and learn from peers: compare experiences and good/bad practices
• Prepare to organise workshops at own institution and further promote the HEInnovate tool. 

The session will take place at the Campus Schöneberg of the Berlin Professional School of Economics and Law (Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht, HWR) on June 18–19, 2025. The training will start at 11 am on Wednesday, June 18 to allow participants to arrive on day 1, and finish at 3 pm on Thursday, June 19, to allow participants to travel home on day 2. 

Please note that we cannot offer you a slot on this training if you have already participated in one of our past train-the-trainers sessions to ensure that other colleagues can benefit from the opportunity as well. 

Registration is required as we have limited places available. Please express your interest in participating here until May 20, 2025.

You will be informed about the selection results in due time prior to the workshop. Participants will be selected to ensure a balanced group in terms of experience, institutional background, and motivation for applying HEInnovate in practice.
