CEI Study Visit 2026-I: Advancing the Twin Transition through Green and Digital Innovation in Education (In person event - FULLY FUNDED)
The Community fro Educational Innovation (CEI) invites motivated professionals to apply for the CEI Study Visit 2026, taking place on 6-7 July 2026 and hosted by New Bulgarian University in Sofia, Bulgaria. This immersive, fully funded visit will explore how education institutions can drive the twin transition — green and digital — preparing learners to navigate and shape a climate-neutral, digitally transformed economy. Building on the themes of this semester's CEI webinars, the programme combines expert keynotes, interactive project development sessions, and peer learning exchanges to move from concepts to concrete action.
Participants will examine how to embed sustainability and digital innovation across curricula, research, and institutional strategy. Sessions will address frameworks for achieving successful twin transitions, approaches to building digital literacy and green competences, and ways to strengthen collaboration between higher education institutions and external partners in support of these goals.
Over 1.5 days, the programme will feature mutual learning exercises, collaborative workshops, and structured peer exchanges. New Bulgarian University brings strong expertise in digital transformation, entrepreneurship, and innovation ecosystems, providing participants with first-hand exposure to an institution actively shaping this agenda.
