Expert profile

Yeoryios Stamboulis is Professor of "Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship" at the Department of Economics, University of Thessaly Greece. He has more than 25 years of teaching and research experience on innovation and entrepreneurship. 
He is currently teaching courses on Entrepreneurship, Technology Strategy, Innovation Management, Economics of Technology, and Economics of Artificial Intelligence. 
He has also advised on innovation and entrepreneurship policy design and led entrepreneurship support programmes. More than 20 student startups have sprang up from his undergraduate and postgraduate entrepreneurship course programmes, some of which have attracted investment of more than 100M Euros, in total. 
His research interests include energy, cyclical economy, tourism, platform strategy, cooperatives and systems dynamics.
