An enthusiastic user of HEInnovate, Barbara Gabriel has already implemented it twice in the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Aveiro with two distinct target groups. HEInnovate is the catalyst for change and for several actions in the institution. The initiatives are focused on engineering education with impact at the rector level, namely, the creation of a Science and Engineering Education Group and the promotion of the project E3@UA – Excellence in Engineering Education at University of Aveiro that involved all the engineering academic staff and students.

HEInnovate will be also used as reinforcement of the University-Society Cooperation under the scope of engineering education.
